Rain is predicted to fall in several areas of Jakarta from morning. Citizen should be aware of weather change.

Please be aware of rain accompanied by lightning and strong wind

"Moderate rain falls in Seribu Islands and light rain in North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and West Jakarta," said Hary Tirto Djatmiko, Head Division of BMKG's Public Relation, Wednesday (2/28).

In the afternoo n, light rain will fall in North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, and moderate rain in South Jakarta and East Jakarta. At night, rain is predicted to fall in most Jakarta areas.

"Cloudy at dawn, with light rain to fall in Seribu Islands, North Jakarta, and West Jakarta," he mentioned.

He informed, temperature could reach 23-31 Celsius degree with humidity 70-95 percent. While southwest-northwest wind velocity to reach around 05-27 kilometers per hour.

"Please be aware of rain accompanied by lightning and strong wind especially in Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta between afternoon and night," he stated.
